I was kinda surprised to see myself appear in all kinds of places – yeah, I do like to get out and about a lot – the restless sort I am - as in What’s the Big Idea? Find Out Next Wednesday

“…Digital Wednesdays is held every Wednesday (duh) at the Corio restaurant and bar in SoHo (337 West Broadway to be exact) between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Judging from last night’s turnout, aim for 7 p.m. or later. DW is hosted by Max Ramirez, director of ad sales at Blinkx.com and his stated goal is “to make the next big dot.com idea happen … today!” An excellent, if perhaps slightly lofty, ambition for your average hump day.”

Really, every Wednesday?  I thought it was once a month – and it was a meetup group…read on:

“…A gaggle of Eyeblaster employees piled into Corio last night, including manager of business development Georgiana Mirea. Also in attendance: business development strategist Michael Demby and blogger and analyst Marshall Sponder among many other smiling faces enjoying the company, the creative cocktails, delicious wines and beer. “

Ha, ha, ha … yep, I was there and had a good time, spent about 2 hours sitting with new people, some who are now my Facebook Friends like Jennifly Green (who has a pretty interesting headshot, btw).

Any next big ideas that appeared over drinks? None that I remember, but I certainly had a good time and will try to show up at more Digital Wednesdays.
