Growth of Social Networks is also good for your Job Health

I have almost 600 Facebook friends now, but I don’t make friends for any other reason than I like having friends, both real and virtual – and, in many cases, a virtual friendship on Facebook or Twitter is an introduction to, at least, an in person meeting and perhaps Friendship that extends offline – or [...]

Playing with ComScore Segment Metrix – anyone what questions answered?

I’m evaluating ComScore’s Segment Metrix Product offering for a few more days and wanted to post both on that and AdMetrix over the weekend.  My mind, overall, is burnt out with all the stuff I’ve been doing of late and later on, this afternoon, I’m going out to see the FIGMENT Festival that’s going on [...]

MediaWiki’s Social Profile extends White Label Social Networking

While label social networking, Wiki Style, took a step forward with MediaWiki’s SocialProfile extension – a good write up of SocialProfile was done at Read/WriteWeb in a post titled Wikia Open Sources Social Networking – Focused Networking Now Open to All

Facebook Traffic is leveling off, other Social Networks too – are people losing interest?

Now that I have access to ComScore MyMetrix, I can pull the data I’m seeing in other reports, based on ComScore, for myself. The actual story is on Are U.K. Users Burning Out on Social Networking? in Read/WriteWeb but the story is more about Facebook and US Visitors, as reported by TechCrunch in a [...]

Social Media Diagram from Elliance

I was kinda thinking about a Social Media Diagram I saw today on Search Engine Land titled  – Search Illustrated: Building A Company With Social Media; it clearly needs more definition but it’s rare to see the Social Media Process (and stakeholders) shown with this much clarity.

I think if each one of these  “levels” of [...]
